How does the IntWare24 carousel vending machine work?
A carousel vending machine is an intuitive and highly effective solution for issuing tools and other company supplies. It combines access control, automatic compartment positioning, and comprehensive system records. The withdrawal process works as follows:
- The employee holds their RFID card near the reader to identify themselves in the system.
- They enter a four-digit PIN to log in.
- On the screen, the employee selects the appropriate tools or supplies folder and the product they want to withdraw.
- The user selects the quantity and clicks Withdraw.
- The vending machine starts the process: the carousel rotates until the compartment containing the selected product reaches the correct position.
- When the compartment is ready, a green light comes on. The employee opens it, withdraws the product, and closes it.
- Finally, the employee returns to the screen and logs out of the system.
The entire process takes just over 10 seconds and is fully recorded, ensuring an organized and transparent tool crib.
Compartment capacity: 160 to 960
Our carousel vending machine has one large drum that rotates inside the unit when the user selects a compartment. As a result, the compartments taper toward the center of the machine. The diagram below shows the approximate dimensions of one compartment. The machine has 20 levels of compartments, which we configure to meet the customer's needs by combining up to three levels horizontally or vertically. This allows a single machine to accommodate between 160 and 960 compartments.
